Workforce Stability Holding Strong Across the Region

When service delivery began on 1 July 2025, Te Rangitāmiro started the journey with 301 Kaiwhiriwhiri FTE contracted and in place across our rohe, ensuring whānau had access to the support they needed from day one.

One year on, our Kaiwhiriwhiri workforce remains strong, sitting at 97.25% of our original target as at 30 June 2026. This reflects the ongoing commitment of our Provider network to maintaining a strong and consistent workforce for whānau across our rohe.

A huge shoutout to our Providers for the mahi you continue to do to support your Kaiwhiriwhiri and maintain that continuity. Your reporting also plays an important part in helping us understand the full picture across the region and where additional support may be needed.
